Through De Kapper, the local magazine of my native village Velden, we found out that we are in the Yearbook of World Press Photo!
Last year we performed an assignment at Vredepeel Air Base for Robin Radar Systems. There we happened to be standing in front of an armored vehicle. A journalist (Kees van de Veen) then took photos and submitted one of them for the Silver Camera 2024.
We naturally feel very honored.
Incidentally, this photo was also used some time ago in an item of the Dutch television program “This was the news”.
