The Merletlecollege in Cuijk wanted to treat all of its students to an ice cream on the last day of school when they came to pick up their report cards:

• it was about 1000 students
• everyone could get an ice cream with 2 scoops
• it had to happen between 9:00 and 12:00 am

To be able to scoop this amount of ice cream so quickly we proposed the following approach:

• deployment of 2 ice cream carts (De Gazelle and the Polar Bear)
• only 2 flavors in the ice cream cart
• therefore we could scoop with 2 ice cream man/women at the same time at each ice cream cart

It took some hard work, but in the end everything went according to plan.
