Last week we were allowed to scoop ice cream for the staff of a large logistics company in Venlo. The client wanted us to put the ice cream bike on the terrace of their restaurant: on the second floor.
However, what turned out: their biggest freight elevator was too small for our ice cream bikes. Even our smallest bike (the Gazelle) did not fit in it.
After some thought, we came up with the idea to detach the topof the Gazelle from the chassis. The top would then fit in the elevator without any problems. We got the chassis into the elevator by placing the rear wheel high up against the side wall.
With the help of the customer's technical department, we managed to do this within an hour. And we were able to provide the entire staff with a nice ice cream.
