Today we were allowed to provide the staff of MCB in Valkenswaard with a delicious ice cream. MCB is (probably) the largest metal trade in the Netherlands. At the complex are gigantic halls filled with stacks of metal sheets, tubes and bars. The longest hall we drove through was a whopping 330 meters long. Because everything is very large and heavy, the employees work with large cranes, forklifts and machines.
Because the complex is so large, we had to drive our ice cream cart through the halls and stop at many different places. Because of safety, we had to wear special safety shoes. In total, we biked about 2-3 kilometers. And the assistant ice cream man Hubert had to walk quite a few kilometers to keep bringing in ice cream from our car (which held the supply).
The ice was well received, also because it was 28 degrees today and it was already starting to get hot in the halls.
